Authentication
Authentication into Maropost is automatic upon installation of the App via Addons store.
Sync Types Supported
- Products / stock – From Maropost to Destination channel i.e. Marketplaces.
- Orders – From Destination channel(s) to Maropost for fulfilment.
- Order updates – From Maropost to Destination channel(s) i.e. Tracking and carrier details.
Settings
Products
- Support Deactivation – Whether to deactivate products on channels when deactivated or unapproved on Maropost. Note that deactivation may take up to 1 hour after deactivation or un-approval is done on Maropost.
- Verify Promo Dates – Whether to use the product’s promo price without checking the Promo Start Date and Promo End Date. This setting will apply across all Sale channels.
- Default Price Group – The default price group to use to sync prices to marketplaces. This can be overwritten for each channel using Channel Overwrites in Product Rules.
- Product Unit Of Measure – The unit of measurement used on your Maropost products when specifying length, height and width.
- Sync Stock From – The Maropost Warehouse Location to sync stock from. Note that any Committed Stock Quantity will be deducted from the Warehouse Stock Quantity. This is also not supported for Kitted Products, therefore Kitted Products will still sync the quantity across all Warehouses.
- This can be overwritten for each channel using Channel Overwrites in Product Rules by editing the Stock Quantity standard attribute.
- Virtual Stock Qty- The quantity to set for virtual Maropost products.
- Categorisation Method – The method to determine how category mappings will be done.
- When using “Map From Custom (Misc) Field, the unique values of your misc field across your products will need to be mapped to each channel’s category.
- When using “Map From Category/Content Type”, content types across all your approved products will need to be mapped to each channel’s category
- If you have a Custom Attribute already populated with the exact marketplace category id, this can be mapped directly to the marketplace category using Product Rules by editing the System Category ID standard attribute and setting it to this Misc field.
Orders
- Support Order Status Updates – Whether to support updating Maropost order statuses if changed. For example, if an order is cancelled on a channel, whether to update the Maropost order status to Cancelled.
- Support Order Address Updates – Whether to support updating Maropost order addresses if changed on the marketplace.
- Support RMA Generation – Whether to support generating RMA’s on Maropost when an order has been returned and refunded on channels.
- Maropost Payment Method – The payment method to use when creating orders on Maropost. This can be changed for each channel by using Channel Overwrites in Order Rules.
- Maropost Shipping Method (Australia) – The default shipping method to use when creating orders on Maropost that ship within Australia. Use the Channel Overwrites in Order Rules if you require further customizations.
- Maropost Shipping Method (Other Countries) – The shipping method to use when creating orders on Maropost that require shipping outside of Australia. Use the Channel Overwrites in Order Rules if you require further customizations.
- Ready To Ship Order Status – This setting allows you to customize the Maropost Order Status when orders that are awaiting shipment on a marketplaces gets created on Maropost.
- Not Ready To Ship Order Status – This setting allows you to customize the Maropost Order Status when orders that are in a state that is not awaiting shipment (such as cancelled, unpaid or already shipped) on a marketplaces gets created on Maropost.
Attribute considerations – Rules
- Publish – If you need to define what products are published to what Marketplace.
- Price / Sale Price – If you want to use a different Price Group per Marketplace.
- Stock Quantity – If you want to define different stock numbers per marketplace, based on Warehouse locations in Maropost.
- Images – If you want to define the order of images to Marketplaces.
